As the Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Recreation and previously Mortar, he has dedicated over two decades to transforming how healthcare brands tell their stories. His journey in this dynamic industry has been fueled by a passion for innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence in healthcare brand storytelling and marketing.
Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of partnering with numerous healthcare brands, including Avinger, Verb Surgical, Johnson & Johnson, Ethicon, Acutus Medical, Abbott, Insightec, Clorox Healthcare, Penumbra, Endologix, Silk Road Medical, Tympa Health, Philips, and many more. He has helped these brands articulate their unique value propositions and connect with their audiences in meaningful and impactful ways.
His expertise lies in crafting compelling and unique creative and marketing strategies that resonate, engage, and drive growth. By blending creativity with strategic insight, he has been instrumental in elevating brand experiences and redefining industry standards for creativity and marketing in healthcare.

Matt Hendon || Creative Director
Matt is a creative director and multidisciplinary designer who believes design is where strategy finds its voice. At Recreation, he shapes identity systems, interactions, and visual narratives that bring clarity to complexity and transform innovation into experiences people can connect with. His work reflects Rec’s belief in balance — blending precision and imagination to create brands that feel both grounded and inspiring.

Jeremy believes powerful storytelling lives at the intersection of artistry and purpose. As Video Director at Recreation, he captures the human side of innovation, creating films that connect audiences with brands and turn complex ideas into moments of clarity and emotion.
